Guatemala Finca Onà Specialty
Floral and refined Guatemalan specialty coffee, with notes of white flowers, acacia honey, and cocoa.
This Guatemalan specialty coffee originates from the Huehuetenango region, one of the most renowned areas in the world for producing high-quality Arabica coffee.
Huehuetenango stands out for its high altitudes and the presence of warm winds from the Mexican plains, which protect the crops from frost and allow the growth of complex, aromatic, and elegant coffees.
Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand, through a careful selection of ripe cherries. After harvest, the coffee undergoes a washed process with controlled aerobic fermentation: the cherries are depulped, fermented, washed, and then density-sorted before being sun-dried. This method enhances the cup’s aromatic clarity, the brightness of the acidity, and the definition of its floral and honeyed notes.
Finca Onà is also Rainforest Alliance certified and participates in sustainability and social inclusion programs that support and empower local communities. A central role is played by the Mujeres de Café, women who actively contribute to production quality, professional training, and the economic development of the region, turning coffee into a tool for growth and opportunity.
In the cup, it reveals an elegant and well-balanced profile, characterized by intense floral aromas and a natural sweetness reminiscent of acacia honey. Notes of white flowers blend harmoniously with hints of cocoa and a pleasant aromatic persistence, resulting in a refined, clean, and versatile coffee, ideal for both espresso and filter brewing methods.
Perfect for those seeking a traceable and sustainable Guatemalan specialty coffee that expresses the authentic identity of Huehuetenango through an elegant, floral, and nuanced cup.
