Perù Place San Ignacio Specialty
Creamy body with sweet and floral notes
Perù Place San Ignacio is a specialty Arabica coffee grown on a small plantation in the heart of the Peruvian Andes. In this mountainous region, coffee is cultivated naturally and sustainably, a tradition that has been rooted for generations.
The high altitudes of the plots require entirely manual labor, while the fertile soil, favorable climate, and daily care of the plants allow for high-quality harvests without the use of chemical products.
The Cajamarca region in northern Peru represents a transition zone between the high Andean peaks and the Amazon basin. This biodiverse territory creates a mosaic of microclimates ideal for cultivating Arabica coffee. Coffee plants grow in the shade of native trees, nourished by fertile soil rich in organic matter from the forest’s natural decomposition.
Thanks to the altitude and the unique climate, the coffee cherries ripen slowly, developing clean aromas, great complexity, and natural sweetness. During the harvest, farmers carefully select only perfectly ripe cherries, which are then processed using methods that preserve the quality, integrity, and aromatic characteristics of the beans.
In the cup, Perù Place San Ignacio delivers an elegant, complex, and naturally sweet coffee.
